Just a little update

Dear God, I am feeling like crap today.  I've been in pain with my stomach and rushing to the toilet every 20-30 minutes or so. I'm just glad that I'm stuck indoors tomorrow waiting for yet another workman to come and do some work in the flat.

All the pain I'm in isn't doing much for my depression either, especially as I've been having the three week long battle with the repairs service, the current battle with the Department for Work and Pensions and all the other stresses and strains of living on welfare. The atmosphere at home is also a contributory factor; it's up and down with the various external factors that affect a marriage.

I've still got the odd bit of voluntary work with Your Thurrock but it's hard to really do all the necessary work and research without a proper internet capable computer of some sort at home.  I can do little bits like this update on my smartphone but it's got a rather small screen and it's difficult to do too much without straining my eyes. So I'm stuck with a two-hour slot each day except Sundays at the local public library assuming I can actually leave the flat.

I'm getting rather depressed with everything at the moment. All I'd like is a few days respite from the ongoing relentless horror that is my life. Yes, there are people worse off than me; I am fully aware of that fact, but it's not the size of a person's problems, it's their ability to cope with the problems they're presented with and I am well beyond the point that I can cope with.

My Employment Specialist has suggested that I become an international volunteer and I think that I might look into it just so I can get away from the UK and its terribly abusive Government.

If I make a decision, you, my loyal readers, will be the first to know.

Until next time...
